Our Music Video Selected As A Semi-Finalist in International Songwriting Competition!
That's right! Our music video for our single, The Church Usher's Dance, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the 2015 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). More than 18,500 entries were submitted and we made the top 10% of all entries. We are competing against artists from around the world, including Cambridge, New Zealand; Toronto, Canada; Accra, Ghana; Berlin, Germany; Gold Coast, Australia, and more. We are one of 69 remaining entries in the Music Video category.
This group of semi-finalists will be narrowed down to the finalists who will be sent to ICS celebrity judges who will then select the winners. Finalists will be announced within a couple of weeks, and winners (including those in the Sing Your Heart Out, Pick Your Cause, and the Stocking Stuffer promotions), will be announced once the judging process is completed. Videotaped at two local churches in Washington, DC, The Church Usher's Dance centers on an 8-year old named Tré who spent six days a week in church. On the rare occasion that he was able to attend his friend’s birthday party, he unintentionally started a new dance craze by simply being himself and doing the only dance that he knew – The Church Usher's Dance. Check it out below.
